MapMining automates what you could do by hand in Google Maps — it doesn't use the paid Places API or hit Google's servers any harder than browsing does. That said, automated collection sits in a grey area, so we keep it conservative: it runs at human-ish speed and only reads what's already on the page. Use it for prospecting, not for republishing Google's data.

For each business with a site, MapMining fetches the public homepage and reads the HTML — tech stack, SSL headers, ad pixels, e-commerce and booking tools, hiring language. Nothing behind a login, nothing you couldn't see by viewing source yourself.

Around 14–15 leads a minute in testing — up to ~900 an hour — depending on how heavy the X-ray settings are and how quick the sites respond. You can pause and resume any time; it picks up where it left off.
